Design and Development
Morpheon is the developer and publisher of ChartBase, an integrated practice management, electronic medical records, billing and employer contact management system used by some of the largest occupational healthcare clinics in southern California and northwest Nevada. ChartBase is built with PowerBuilder and SQL Anywhere and has been deployed as traditional client-server as well as PowerServer cloud implementations.
UI Modernization
Morpheon specializes in UI modernization of PowerBuilder applications, whether designing an interface from scratch or retroactively applying a UI Theme to a mature application.
PowerServer Cloud Deployment
We have used the latest PowerServer technology to perform secure cloud deployments of classic PowerBuilder client-server apps with hundreds of window objects, thousands of DataWindows objects and hundreds of SQL Anywhere stored procedures. The resulting cloud-native apps preserve PowerBuilder’s full rich desktop UI while securing data access via REST APIs over HTTPS. External files, referenced by the app and previously stored on the LAN, have been moved to secure cloud storage and are also accessed via REST APIs.
